In July 2009, 19 students and 3 teachers from Gordano School will visit Ndera School in Kigali, Rwanda
I think we all look good for 19 wet students!
Team Rwanda took part in a team building session which was run by Peter Maliphant of Beacons High Impact Management Development. Despite the weather everyone enjoyed themselves and further sessions are planned before their visit to Rwanda and Uganda in June 2009.
Gordano School Sports Day - Team Rwanda
Students from “Team Rwanda” served refreshments during whole school sports day events.Strawberries and Cream and fresh fruit smoothies proved to be very popular. The funds raised by this event will go towards their visit in June 2009.
Our First Video Conference Thursday 18th September 2008
On Thursday evening a group of pupils going to Ndera School next year, had a web chat using Skype with students from the school. We discussed music tastes, hobbies and we even sang them some Westlife! It was an amazing and it was really nice to speak to them before we go to Rwanda next year. We hope to have many more meetings with them throughout this year.
Only five weeks to go!!!
